The role

A renewable energy company growing across Scotland and the North of England needs a content lead to make its work easy to understand. You'll own the content plan, edit the blog and guides, and manage a small group of freelance writers.

What you'll do

• Build and run the content plan across web, email and social
• Write and edit customer guides, case studies and reports
• Brief and manage three regular freelance writers
• Keep the style guide up to date and help others use it
• Measure what content works and share what you learn

What you'll need

• Four or more years writing and editing for a brand or publisher
• Able to explain technical subjects simply and accurately
• Experience managing freelancers or a small team
• Working knowledge of SEO and a content management system
• An interest in energy, climate or sustainability
